Where the mind is without fear & the head is held high....

Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high , Into that heaven of
freedom, my Father, let my country awake !!!

Excerpts from a poem of RabindraNath Tagore

The 1st & the last line are the one which always stay in my mind..I guess they explain everything we all are striving for. I heard this poem 1st time when I was in school still donn remember in which class. Sr. Julia our english singing teacher made us sing this poem as a song and slowly it became the source of energy for me like many other things.I guess its a favourite one for you too as thats why you are reading my blog :)
Well I don't want to discuss my views on this song over here , just wanted all to remember this song for a moment !!!
Into that heaven of freedom dear God let everyone awake....

Cycling for 17 days 600 km from Kullu to Khardungla top and securing an entry in the Limca Book of World Records.  This was my training ride before embarking on our expedition which started on 14th August 2011. Ghatkopar-Eastern express highway - Thane - Ghodbandar-Borivali National Park - Kanheri Caves- JVLR-Powai -Vikroli -Ghatkopar It's monsoon in Mumbai, I remember being wet by the time we hit the eastern express highway (15 mins), it was a series of drying up and getting wet again.
